Florida Union Free School District to adopt ParentSquare

The Florida Union Free School District is excited to announce that in the coming weeks, we will launch a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

  • Send and receive school and class information
  • Share pictures and files
  • See calendar items
  • Sign up to volunteer
  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences
  • and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

ParentSquare 3- Minute Overview

District and school, grade level and classroom information will be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, the ParentSquare app is available for free for iOS and Android devices.

“We look forward to using ParentSquare. It is a user-friendly tool which will create easier and faster communication through one platform. This transition is part of our Blueprint for Excellence adopted in December 2023 to enhance parent communication,” shared Superintendent Lisamarie Spindler.

In the coming weeks, more information will be provided along with an official registration invitation as the district prepares to launch ParentSquare. You can also visit the ParentSquare table at the District Showcase held on Tuesday, May 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for more details.
