May Student Athlete of the Month
Caroline Maher (spring track)
Caroline is a freshman competing on the spring track team. She has shown tremendous improvement as the season has progressed. She has run races ranging from the 200m to the 1500m, with a focus on the 800m and 1500m. She comes to practice every day ready to work hard. She is very motivated to keep improving and brings a positive attitude to practice every day. She is well deserving of being the May track athlete of the month.
Emerson Dazi (softball)
Emerson battled back from injury and had an outstanding month of May both offensively and defensively. At the plate, she batted an impressive .375 while leading the team in RBIs and runs scored. Defensively, Emerson made a seamless transition to a new position, showcasing her versatility and athleticism on the softball field.
Only a sophomore, Emerson has already proven herself to be an important leader for this team, and her work ethic, determination, and talent will continue to help her succeed for years to come.
Jaxen Chiavaro (baseball)
Jaxen had an outstanding month at the plate, batting nearly .400 while posting an impressive .600 on-base percentage. He also led the team with four extra-base hits during the month, consistently providing a spark in the lineup. Defensively, Jaxen showed great versatility by contributing at both first base and in the outfield. His hard work, consistency, and team-first attitude made him a key part of our success this season.
