Taylor Vogt recognized as National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist

S.S. Seward senior Taylor Vogt has been recognized as a 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). 

She is one of 16,000 seniors across the nation who have the opportunity to compete for over 6,000 scholarships totaling nearly $26,000 to be awarded next spring.

According to NMSC, “About 95 percent of the Semifinalists are expected to attain Finalist standing, and about half of the Finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship, earning the Merit Scholar title.”

The mission of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is to recognize and honor the academically talented students of the United States.
