Dear Parents & Guardians,
As we shared earlier this month, the district is changing the mass notification system we use to communicate with staff and families at the Florida Union Free School District. Future messages will be sent through the district’s new platform, ParentSquare, effective July 1, 2024.
Thank you to all who have activated their ParentSquare accounts. If you still need to activate your account, please take a moment to do so. The process takes less than a minute and will verify your contact information.
Testing the System:
We will test ParentSquare, the district’s new notification system on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. All parents/guardians and staff should receive a test email around 9:00am. If you do not receive a message, please contact the Main Office of your child’s school so they can update your contact information in SchoolTool. Those not opted out of text alerts should also receive a “test” text message.
Getting Started with ParentSquare:
Once you activate your account and log in, you can access many helpful resources by clicking the question mark in the upper right corner (desktop version) and then “Help Articles” in the menu. In the app, you can access the help articles by clicking the menu icon in the upper left corner (look for three horizontal lines).
Users with a registered ParentSquare account can access modules and webinars to learn more about the platform and its features. Training courses can be accessed without a registered ParentSquare account. For more information, visit the ParentSquare page of the website.
