Incoming Parent/Student Night June 4

Good Afternoon, Spartan Nation!

I am delighted to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming Incoming Parent/Student Night. This event is a crucial part of our school’s community-building efforts, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to meet you and help you familiarize yourself with what we have to offer at S.S. Seward Institute.

For our rising 6th-grade students, the orientation will occur on Tuesday, June 4th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Seward cafeteria. Similarly, for our rising 9th-grade students, the orientation will be held on the same day at 7:00 p.m. in the cafe. The evening will begin with a short program, followed by a guided tour of the building.

This evening, you will have the opportunity to hear from our esteemed counselors, Ms. Julie Potter, who will guide you through the middle school programs, and Mr. Greg Geroux, who will provide insights into the high school curriculum. They will also discuss scheduling, academic supports, and the wide range of extracurricular programs available for you and your child(ren).

I strongly urge you to attend this significant meeting with your child(ren). By familiarizing yourself with the school and the dedicated adults here to support you, you will feel more at ease about entering S.S. Seward. This has proven highly beneficial for our future high school students transitioning from elementary to middle school. We are here to provide the necessary support and guidance for your child’s success at S.S. Seward.

If you have any questions or concerns about the orientation program or middle and high school, please do not hesitate to contact me at (845) 651-3095. I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to address any queries or concerns you may have. Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
Michael Maesano
