Golden Hill Student Supply Lists 2024-25

Here’s everything your child will need on the first day of school. Please label all items and remember that some things may need to be replenished or replaced later in the year. Kindergarten

  • One box of Crayola crayons, 16-count
  • 6 Glue Sticks
  • A Backpack or Bookbag that your child can easily open and close (NO BOOK BAGS WITH WHEELS)
  • One folder with pockets on the bottom for papers to be put in easily.
  • A plastic box to hold crayons and supplies.
  • One box of tissues for the class
  • One pair of Fiskars scissors
  • One Marble Composition Notebook with lines on the whole page.
  • 4 large, round beginner pencils with an eraser on top.
  • One box Quart size plastic Zip-Lock bags
  • One box Gallon-size plastic Zip-Lock bags
  • Four – 4oz. Size of play-doh, any color/s (no scented, glitter, or sparkle)
  • One pair of headphones to use in the classroom (no earbuds).

Grade 1

  • 1 Set of headphones (NOT earbuds) in a ziploc bag labeled with name
  • 1 Box of crayons (24 max. per box/NOT jumbo)
  • 1 Box of Ticonderoga pencils, sharpened
  • 2 Pink erasers
  • 1 Pair of child scissors
  • 1 Large glue stick
  • 1 Blue plastic two-pocket folder
  • 1 Yellow highlighter
  • 2 Black Expo Dry Erase Markers
  • 1 Box of tissues
  • 2 Containers of Play-Doh
  • 1 Box of ziploc bags (any size)
  • 1 Reusable water bottle

Grade 2

  • 3 boxes of pencils, sharpened please
  • 6 glue sticks 
  • 1 marble notebook 
  • 4 dry erase markers 
  • 1 ruler (centimeters/meters) 
  • 1 package antibacterial wipes
  • 1 boxes of tissues 
  • Gallon sized ziploc bags 
  • 1 container of play-doh 
  • 1 child scissors
  • 2 plastic folders with pockets
  • 1 set of headphones- Ziploc bag and labeled with name

Grade 3

        • 4 – 100-sheet marbled hard cover composition notebooks (No spiral notebooks)
        • 2 highlighters – different colors
        • 4 large glue sticks*
        • scissors
        • 24-count box of crayons
        • 1 boxes of tissues
        • 5 folders with pockets on the bottom
        • 24 No. 2 sharpened pencils with erasers* (Ticonderoga or Dixon work best and last longest)
        • 1 package colored pencils
        • 2 rubber erasers
        • 1 black sharpie
        • 1 LARGE cloth/nylon zippered pencil case (no plastic boxes)
        • 1 set of headphones in Ziploc bag labeled with student’s name 
        • 4 pack of black dry-erase markers (Expo brand works best and last longest)
        • 2 one-gallon size Ziploc bags (quart size is not big enough)

      * These supplies go quickly, please ask your child to let you know when the supplies run low.

      Grade 4

      • 5 marble composition notebook (no spiral)
      • 5 packages of pencils with erasers              
      • Colored pencils
      • Crayons 
      • Non-electric pencil sharpener
      • 2 highlighters
      • Scissors
      • 6-8  glue sticks
      • 1 ruler – to be left at home for homework assignments       
      • 1 protractor – to be left at home for homework assignments
      • 5 folders with pockets
      • 1 cloth/vinyl pencil container (not a plastic box)
      • 1 black ½ inch 3 ring binder for chorus
      • 1 boxes of tissues
      • 1 unopened package of looseleaf paper
      • Headphones or Earbuds

      Optional: Reusable water bottle *no glass permitted in school; please ensure it has a sealed sip/straw lid that does not have to be removed for drinking (spills are frequent).

      Grade 5

      • A five-subject notebook with pockets
      • 1-inch binder for Chorus
      • 1.5 or 2-inch binder for Math
      • 2 packages of Loose Leaf Paper
      • 2 two-pocket folders
      • A package of blue or black pens
      • Colored Pencils
      • 2 packages of pencils and a pencil sharpener
      • Highlighters
      • Scissors
      • Glue Sticks
      • A three-ring pencil pouch
      • 1 box of tissues
      • 1 small package of multi-colored construction paper
      • A novel for the first day of school to read independently
      • 3 dry erase markers
      • Colored markers
      • Headphones in a  ziplock bag for the Chromebook
      • 2 Marble notebooks
      • Reusable, plastic water bottle.
